October’s brownie subscription boxes went down a treat this month. The boxes included some real warming and comforting bakes. With one of my favourite brownies, and a blondie which (even as a staunch blondie hater) I absolutely loved.
Biscoff brownies are a real comforting bake. There’s something about the rich, dark chocolate of a brownie and the sweet caramel flavour of biscoff biscuits which work so well. My signature fudgey chocolate brownie recipe is swirled with biscoff spread and each slice has a whole Biscoff biscuit baked into it. I think these were the perfect brownie for an autumnal evening – best served with a mug of something hot.
Apple Crumble Blondies
If you follow along on social media, you may know that I’m not a fan of blondies. But there’s a few that I can’t resist – this being one of them. They’re like crumble in a slice, all the comfort and nostalgia of hot bowls of crumble and custard. The blondies are swirled with apple sauce, cinnamon and topped with my mum’s famous crumble recipe. Eaten cold as an instant treat, or warmed up for 30 seconds in the microwave to make a hot pud – they’re a real treat.
November’s Brownie Subscription Box
November’s brownie subscription boxes will be heading out on the 12th November. And there’ll be more winter-warming flavours to enjoy. Each box will contain 3 slices of blondie and 3 slices of brownie, with the flavours being a surprise. You can choose to order as a one-off treat, as part of a block of 3, 6 or 12 months, or sign up to receive month after month of boxes.
I hope everyone who received October’s box loved theirs and are looking forward to the next ones. If you want to have a feel for the sorts of blondies and brownies included in the subscriptions; click here to read through past blog posts.
