Last week, June’s cake subscription boxes made their way out of the kitchen. Lots of bakes posted out all across the country, for special birthday celebrations, good luck in GCSEs, get well soons and all things in-between. With lots of subscribers treating themselves to their bakes too.
June’s box included an old classic, one of the most popular bakes on the website and a new flavour of cookie – which went down very well. I absolutely loved baking them all up, and hearing people’s lovely feedback on them all. Messages to say it was the best box ever always make my day.
Chocolate brownies are one of those timeless classics. I don’t really think you can beat a good chocolate brownie. Mine are rich and fudgey and filled with white chocolate chips. Whether they’re enjoyed with a cup of tea, a cold glass of milk or warmed up and served as a pudding, chocolate brownies are always a real comforting treat.
Jammie Dodger Blondies
Jammie Dodger blondies are one of the most popular bakes on the website, and I’ve had a fair few requests for them to feature in the cake subscription boxes. They’re a rich and fudgey white chocolate blondie, swirled with strawberry jam and topped with a Jammie Dodger. They’re sweet and sticky and a real indulgent treat. I’m so glad they went down well.
Raspberry & White Chocolate Cookies
Cookies are one of the bakes that have been on the menu since the very beginning of Little Bee Bakes and I love creating new flavour combinations for them. I think these are my favourite ones so far. They’re sweet and buttery, filled with lots of Belgian white chocolate chips and freeze-dried raspberries. The sweet and tangy combination of the white chocolate and raspberries work so well together.
Love the look of this box?
If you missed out on this box, you can buy it again from now until 19th June. The boxes will be baked up fresh and posted out the week commencing 17th. If I were you I wouldn’t miss out on the chance to buy the cookies.. but I might be a little bit bias!
The next box..
The next cake subscription box will leave the kitchen on the 1st July, with the last date to order being the 27th June. If you want to gift a subscription before this date, all block cake subscriptions come with the option to download a gift certificate on receipt of your order. They really do make such a great gift for so many occasions, and especially for those hard to buy for people in your life – who can grumble with fresh bakes to their door every month!?
I just want to note that from the 1st July I will be slightly increasing the price of the cake subscription boxes. So much work goes into them all, from the buying in of ingredients to prepping all the admin, the photography, prep work and deciding which bakes to include. Not to forget the amount of time it takes to bake them all up and package them. The price of a rolling monthly box will be increasing from £10 a month to £11 a month. This won’t affect existing customers, so if you are thinking of signing up, if you sign up before the 1st July, you will pay £10 a month for the rest of your subscription box days. The same goes with the block payments, they will increase in price come the 1st July, so if you are wanting to get one then if you do so by the end of the month you will save some pennies! Just wanted to be transparent, and inform you before the change. I have lots of lovely bakes in the pipeline, along with an exclusive area which will be opening for subscribers to treat themselves to boxes of the special bakes included in the subscriptions. So watch this space!
